We’re passionate about making the Creative Touch website accessible to everyone! We follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 guidelines to provide a smooth experience for users with disabilities.
Here’s how we ensure accessibility:
- Keyboard navigation: Easily move around the website using your keyboard, bypassing repetitive content with “Skip to content” links.
- Screen reader compatibility: Listen to website content and interact with elements using screen readers.
- Zoom functionality: Enlarge the text and visuals to your preferred size without losing information.
- Clear text and visuals: Enjoy easy-to-read text with good contrast, spacing and clear image descriptions.
We’re always striving for improvement!
While we aim to exceed AA website accessibility standards, some limitations might exist due to:
- Third-party content we can’t control.
- Linked websites with independent accessibility practices.
- Technology limitations for certain features like maps and interactive elements.
We’re actively working to address these areas and provide accessible alternatives whenever possible.
How we go about testing the website
Our web developers - Code Monkeys - test a sample of our pages chosen to represent different types of content on our website.
Pages get tested against the WCAG 2.2 AA criteria using manual and automated test methods. Test methods included:
- Keyboard-only testing
- Testing with a screen readers
- WAVE web accessibility evaluation tool extension for Chrome
- Color Contrast Analyser Tools
- Validating code using the W3C Validator tool.
Let’s work together!
If you encounter any accessibility barriers, please don’t hesitate to contact us or our website developers. Your feedback helps us understand and address issues to create a more inclusive website for everyone.
