Radio Frequency Microneedling

As a previous treatment, microneedling would deliver a more steady and subtle skin rejuvenation, but for those who desire enhancing the overall texture and tone of the skin in less time, then Radio Frequency Microneedling is the recommended treatment of choice! There is little risk of burning, pigmentation or scarring during treatment, and can be used on various areas of the body including:

So, what is Radio Frequency Microneedling?
When you hear word ‘needle’ don’t suddenly think that you will be injected many times over with a hypodermic needle. Radio Frequency Microneedling uses tiny, optimised microneedles which are smaller than the width of a human hair at a depth of between 0.5-4.5mm that delivers safe radio frequency energy into the deeper layers of the skin. The needles gently penetrate the upper layer of skin, stimulating the body’s natural healing response by creating structural collagen tissues. Radiofrequency comfortably heats the deep layers of skin which in turn tightens the skin and encourages collagen production. Before the treatment begins, a numbing agent can be applied to the skin by the salon practitioner to reduce any slight discomfort.
For a more rapid and successful outcome, it is recommended the treatment be carried out once every four to six weeks with results lasting from 12 to 24 months dependent upon one’s post-treatment skin care routine – longer lasting results compared to botox and less painful!
