Sometimes we will say no to a client and refuse treatment.
This might sound unfair, perhaps even a little mean to some. But if it isn’t safe, or won’t naturally enhance your looks, we can say no to you.
If you have migrated lip filler and want to start again, it is perfectly possible. However it’s not as simple nor safe as you might have been led to believe.
Sometimes it’s assumed that all we need to do is add more filler to lips to correct them. We won’t. It will lead to further filler migration with consequences worse than the original migration.
Correcting Filler Migration
Firstly, we need a face-to-face consultation with you, a patch test and time. We do not offer same-day dissolve and refill treatments. Once the migrated filler has been dissolved, you can be treated to fresh filler 4-6 weeks later. Sometimes sooner.
Dissolving is also a costly process which requires a prescribed product to remove the unwanted lip filler. The cost to dissolve starts from £150. Our lip filler treatment services are priced from £180-£250.
The choice of fillers and range of techniques will be discussed during your consultation. We require a small £25 consultation fee to book an appointment. This will be refunded if you’re unsuitable for treatment or discounted from your treatment when you book.
Training and Quality
We do not compete in a race to the bottom with others on price. Nor do we undervalue our skill, product and other costs associated with these services.
Our practitioners are fully trained in first aid. They undergo training to deal with complications and anaphylactic shock, should it ever happen!
No means no. Just because another clinic is prepared to sell you a treatment does not mean the treatment is correct for you. This is your face. We don’t take our responsibility to you lightly.
Perception Drift
Aestheticians can fall victim to “Perception drift”, just as their clients can. This means they lose sight of what faces ordinarily look like - features such as lips can become highly exaggerated from excess filler, with unnatural look following treatment. This is not a good thing for you as a patient.
Lack of Regulation
Due to all the media press lately on the lack of regulation in this industry and the poor clients who suffer malpractice, I think this needs to be said and understood.

Please be careful where you go and what aesthetics treatments are offered to you. Some are potentially dangerous in unskilled hands and should not be performed by anyone without medical training.
Over the last few days, social media has been busy blasting 2 people who fell victim to using the wrong salons and chose, in my opinion, treatments that only a surgeon should have done. Poor souls.
Regulation cannot come quickly enough for the aesthetics industry. It’s currently a free-for-all. Anyone can train for 4 hours in aesthetics and purchase unregulated, untested fillers. Then inject those fillers into your face.
Rotherham and Sheffield are not immune to unskilled individuals performing aesthetic treatments.
